Nearby surroundings
Smíchov is located on the left bank of the Vltava River, adjacent to the picturesque Malá Strana, Hlubočepy and Radlice. Just across the river is one of Prague's landmarks, Vyšehrad. There are many green parks, such as Sacre Coeur, the nearby large valley Prokopské údolí or the green island called Císařská louka.
There are many cycling paths and other opportunities for sports in the surroundings. It is as close as to nature to the popular historical parts of Prague. You can walk along the Vltava River to the very centre and admire the landmarks of Prague on the way.
Transport accessibility
Urbanika is located near the Plzeňka tram stop. From there, you can get to Anděl, one of the largest public transport hubs, or to Smíchovské nádraží railroad station, where there is a B Metro station entrance and from where you can travel to different directions by train.
On the other side of the Vltava River (directly below Vyšehrad) you can use the romantic ferry or just cross the iconic Smíchov Railway Bridge.
